The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East.

The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

  1. Day 1 MOMBASA-TSAVO WEST

    Early morning departure from your coast hotel driving along the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.

    An excellent buffet lunch awaits you at a safari lodge. After relaxing you may enjoy another opportunity to search for the game as you drive back to resort in the early evening.

  2. Day 2 TSAVO WEST-TSAVO EAST

    Early morning game viewing after breakfast including a visit to the Mzima Springs a water spring that produces more than 95 million gallons of water everyday.

    You have a chance of seeing Hippos, Crocodiles and fish from the observation tank. Proceed with your game viewing heading to Tsavo East National Park for lunch at the Lion Hill Lodge. After lunch, relax then we will be having evening game viewing. We will be back at the Lion Hill Lodge for dinner and overnight.

  3. Day 3 TSAVO EAST

    Early morning game viewing and back to breakfast at Ndololo Tented Camp. After breaking fast back again to game viewing. Return for lunch at Ndololo Tented Camp. Relax until 1600HRS and back to evening game viewing search for more Elephant, Lions etcm Back for dinner and overnight at Ndololo Tented Camp.

  4. Day 4 TSAVO EAST-MOMBASA

    Morning game drive before breakfast and after breakfast with lunch enroute to Mombasa arriving at your hotel or resort in the late afternoon.
