The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East.

The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

  1. Day 1 MOMBASA - TSAVO EAST

    Depart resort at 0700hr drive inland to Tsavo East National Park the biggest national park covering an area of about 11,655 sq Km. Morning game drive via Aruba Dam a man made dam which obtains most of its water from the Taita Hills.

    A buffet lunch awaits you at the Voi Safari Lodge a lodge built up on a hill overlooking some two waterholes which are a big attraction for animals. Then relax at the lodge before going for the afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight will be at the Safari Lodge.

  2. Day 2 TSAVO WEST

    Early morning game drive before breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park after breakfast with game drive en-route to Ngulia Safari Lodge for lunch.

    Afternoon game drive after lunch which includes a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary, back to Ngulia Lodge for dinner and overnight you may be as well lucky and spot leopard at a very close range at the lodge.

  3. Day 3 TSAVO WEST- SALTLICK

    Morning game drive after breakfast which does include a visit to Mzima Springs a water spring that produces more than 95 million gallons of water everyday which has created a place of stay for animals like Hippos, Crocodiles and varieties of fish the under water observation tunnels gives you a clear view of the animals in the water.

    You will then proceed to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary arriving on time for lunch. In the afternoon game drive in the sanctuary stopping at the Saltlick lodge on the stilts overlooking the water holes for dinner and overnight.

  4. Day 4 SALTLICK-MOMBASA

    Morning game drive before breakfast and after breakfast with lunch en-route to Mombasa arriving at the resort in the late afternoon.
